LOCAL ADVENTURES

There is always something to do in Pagosa Springs!  From soaking in the hot springs to a wintry dog sled ride, you will never find yourself bored.  Pagosa Springs boasts a wide variety of eateries and several breweries to satisfy your appetite.  If you ever need a recommendation on things to do, sights to see, or places to go, our manager Jennifer will be happy to assist you.

The Springs Resort & Spa is home to the world's deepest geothermal hot spring.  And from the cabins, you are less than 2 miles away!  A visit to the hot springs is a key experience for any trip to Pagosa Springs, any time of year.  One of our favorite things to do in the dead of winter is dunk into a steaming hot pool and take in the wonderful views of the snow-banked San Juan River!  Many visitors swear by the springs' healing mineral properties, and plenty of skiers and hikers appreciate the soothing affects on their sore muscles.  A must do!

From the cabins, you are only 25 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area, which boasts the best snow in Colorado.  Whether you ski, snowboard, or just like to watch from the lodge sipping hot cocoa or your favorite beer, you will have a great day on the mountain.

River Activities

The San Juan River flows right through downtown Pagosa Springs, providing water activities all summer long.  From whitewater rafting after the snow melt, to kayaking and leisurely tubing, the river will keep you busy!  Even if all you want to do is stroll along the river's bank, you can start right from your cabin door.  It's just 2 miles down to the River Walk.
